Terms and Conditions​
1. All individuals applying to enrol or engage the services of The Theatre Ensemble (TTE) are requested to note that registration and admission are subject to the conditions below, and attendance of classes, workshops or activities and productions is recognition of their acceptance of these conditions.

Registration
1. Registration documents must be fully completed online.
2. One invoice will be raised for the full service

Payment Schedule
1. ALL FEES must be paid in full prior to the start of camp or class. We regret to inform you that non-compliance with these terms may result in the student not having access to class and the place being released for the wait list.

Pick Up and Drop Off from Class: Boundary of Responsibilities
1. The Theatre Ensemble’s responsibility for minor students begins only when the child is delivered to the class room when a teacher is present in the room. The Theatre Ensemble is NOT responsible for children if they have been dropped off outside the building, nor if they are left unattended anywhere else.

Collection from Class
1. In the event you are not present to collect your child when the class finishes, they remain with their teacher as the next class commences. Please ensure that you are prompt in the collection of your child to avoid any interruption of the class. If you know in advance you will be late, please let the office know.

Unsupervised Release from Class
1. Your child will not be released from class, unsupervised, without a completed and signed release form having been submitted and accepted by the office. No child below the age of 7 years will be released unaccompanied.

Medical Needs
1. In case of need, and in the event that the parents cannot be contacted to give consent, the teacher in charge may authorise the medical examination of the child, the calling of further medical or specialist advice or the removal of the child to hospital, all the expenses thereby incurred to be met by the parents.The parent agrees that The Theatre Ensemble or any persons authorised by The Theatre Ensemble shall not be liable or responsible for any accident or personal injury sustained or suffered by the child, or for any damage to property however caused while the child is participating in any activity connected to the The Theatre Ensemble programme.

Liability
1. Accidents, with fatalities, serious bodily injury and/or property damage can occur during any and all activities within and associated to TTE, as a result of negligence or otherwise. Those risks are to be assumed by participants who release all of the persons or entities mentioned above for any injury, death, illness or property loss, theft or damages that occurred.
2. All students and participants in workshops, events and activities associated with TTE will participate at their own risk and release the aforementioned entities from liability for any injury, death, theft, loss or damages which may occur.
3.Security and Student Protection
Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform the School and its staff of any existing injuries or medical condition. If any student develops a medical condition during a course, details should immediately be notified to the School. If the health of any Student is deemed by the school to be a cause for concern, then the student must undergo a medical check at their own expense to ascertain their medical fitness to continue the course. In the event that the health of any student is or becomes such that the student is unable to complete the course satisfactorily owing to his/her medical condition, then the School reserves the right to require the student to leave.
4. Students are obliged to take care of their own belongings. The School can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings.
The liability of the School and that of its staff is restricted to class time only and then only to gross negligence.
5. It shall be the responsibility of all students to maintain adequate personal insurance against their personal belongings at all times. Damage or loss to the School’s property or property hired by the School will remain the responsibility of the Student and must be paid for by the student or students responsible.

Use of Images
1. From time to time we record class work to be used for media and academic release. Attendance of any of The Theatre Ensemble's class, production, workshop or event is acceptance of usage of your or your child’s image, written work and voice in academic works, brochures, videos or other promotional materials.
2. Auditions, rehearsals, classes, workshops, camps and performances or any other material may not be recorded or broadcast by any student or public members without the permission of the School.

Missing class policy
1. There will be no refunds if a student misses a class for any reason except the cancellation of that class by The Theatre Ensemble.
If the student is unable to join any of the scheduled workshops, no refund will be given.

Cancellation and Refund Policies
1. There is a non-refundable charge of $50 admin/registration fee for every cancellation that is to be deducted.
2. If the School cancels a course or changes dates after your enrolment, you will be eligible to receive a voucher or full refund of the workshop fee.
3. All withdrawal requests must be made via email to the administration. There is a non-refundable charge of $50 admin/registration fee for every cancellation that is to be deducted.
Withdrawal requests received via email after the first session of a class package, workshop or holiday camp begins will result in a 70% tuition refund + $50 admin/registration fee
Withdrawal requests received via email after the third session of a class package, workshop or holiday camp begins will result in a no tuition refund.
Withdrawal / cancellation requests received via email or phone less than 48 hours before a one-off class or holiday camp (defined as any workshop less than 4-weeks in duration) will result in no refund.

Personal Data Protection
The Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the “PDPA”) establishes a general data protection law in Singapore which governs the collection, use and disclosure of individuals’ personal data by organisations. The PDPA contains 2 main sets of provisions, covering data protection and the Do Not Call registry (the “DNC”). The Do Not Call registry has come into effect on 2 January 2014 and the data protection provisions have taken effect on the 2 July 2014. If you have registered your Singapore telephone numbers, including mobile, fixed-line, residential and business numbers with the registry, the school is unable to contact you via these telephone number(s) for anything other than information related to your current registered classes that you and/or your child attend.
To comply with the PDPA, we hereby seek your consent to use your personal contact details currently available with the school, including your phone numbers, mailing address and email address for the stated purposes indicated in the Consent Form. This will allow us to keep you updated on the schools latest happenings, news-related messages, events and promotions. To give consent, kindly indicate your preferences in this registration form.
